ABOUT HANSON MUSIC & ARTS:

Established in 1989 we make and restore woodwind, brass and stringed musical instruments.   

The business supports local music making through our community not-for-profit organisation ‘Hanson Community Arts’.  We provide grass roots to post conservatoire level ensembles and eduction, providing instruments, lessons & ensembles to a people of all ages and backgrounds.

We are dedicated to ethical and sustainable manufacturing. Our leading role in conservation initiatives have recognised at the highest levels including presentation to HRH King Charles III with a special award for outstanding contribution by the FSC.

Supporters and members of the Heritage Crafts Association we are one of a handful of British makers of wind instruments, and the first makers of saxophones in Britain for almost a Century.
